Backup / Restore

Your CSB features a simple function to backup or restore your settings. Keeping a backup of your settings is helpful in case you ever need to do a factory reset and don't want to restore your settings manually.

1. Select Settings from the sidebar.
2. Select Teleporter tab from the tabs at the top of the page.
3. Click on the Backup button.

A backup will be created and downloaded to your Downloads folder.

3. Choose the items you want to restore (Default is everything)
4. Click the Browse button to select the backup file you want to restore.
5. Click on the Restore button.

Notes for Safari/Mac Users Depending on your settings, Safari may automatically unzip compressed files when downloaded. This will cause CSB backups to be unusable for restore. We recommend you turn tis settings off in Safari.

1. Open Safari.
2. Click Preferences.
3. Under the General tab, uncheck the option Open “safe” files after downloading.

If you do not want to turn this off all the time, turn it off while you make a backup, then turn it back on for normal day-to-day use.
